Say it ain’t so, General!
Even Colin Powell has imbibed in the Saint Barack cool aid. Here is why he’s voting for Obama, in his own words:
- Intellectual Curiosity
- Reaching Out
It couldn’t be for these 2 reasons, could it?
- Revenge for Bush misleading on him about Iraq.
- They share the same skin color.

McCain took the fight right to Obama, and won. Although Lehrer and Obama attempted to make this National Security debate more about the economy, McCain effectively highlighted Obama’s wrong economic policies and escaped major damage.
My favorite parts of the debate:
1. He wouldn’t even look at Obama during the debate. He gave him about as much respect as he would Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.
2. McCain’s line: “Senator Obama just doesn’t get it” was very effective in making Obama look inexperienced and out of touch.
3. Obama agreed with McCain on a number of occasions. This made him look weak. McCain’s campaign had a commercial out immediately highlighting this.
4. Obama looked like a frustrated student at times, raising his hand and hoping the teacher would call on him. Lehrer wouldn’t bail him out, and McCain kept on rolling with his points.
5. Obama was visibly frustrated on many occasions. He looked angry at points, and had a strange grin at others.
Now I can’t wait for this Thursday’s debate between Palin and Biden. This is gonna be great. The over/under on Biden gaffes is 3.

This clip is so good that it is going to have to be a regular guest on this blog.
Its sad that all these years later, we’re still facing the same 2 choices: a realist conservative or an appeasing socialist. Just as we faced the Evil Empire then, we must have the backbone to face the Islamofacists now.
Peace Through Strength.

Governor Palin submitted herself to the condescending Charlie Gibson of ABC, where no topics were off limits. Unlike Saint Barack, she didn’t have a list of topics that were off limits. She answered all of Gibson’s questions, some of them 2 or 3 times because Charlie had to rephrase them each time he didn’t get an answer he liked.
Although he attempted to paint her as an inexperienced religious fanatic who foolishly supports the Bush Doctrine, she handled him well. She let him know that she is ready to be VP and if necessary, the President. She explained why we must have the backs of our allies like Georgia and Israel. She explained why we shouldn’t stand in the way of Israel preemptively striking Iran. She explained why we reserve the right to preemptively strike if we’re threatened as well.
I don’t think any of these logical arguments penetrated Gibson’s thick liberal skull, but at least he’s happy to get some good ratings for a change. Check out the video here:

Read the article here:
According to the Dutch AIVD, they have stopped a secret operation they’ve had going on for years inside Iran. Due to “impending US plans to attack Iran,” within weeks, they’ve pulled out their asset or assets, who have been focusing on infiltrating and sabotaging the weapons and nuclear industry of Iran.
Whether we actually strike Iran or not, it is thought that Israel is preparing a strike of its own. There is no way that small country, surrounded by enemies in the Middle East, is going to let Iran’s apocalyptic mullahs acquire nukes to use on them.
This situation, if played out anytime in the next 2 months, will definitely have an impact on the U.S. Presidential election. John McCain will most likely be the beneficiary as national security again comes to the forefront. That’s bad news for Saint Barack, who has said that Iran doesn’t “pose a serious threat to us”, and would rather talk to terrorists and their state sponsors than take action against them.

John McCain chose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his VP today. Risky? Definately. It could be a stroke of genius though.
There are tons of disaffected Hillary supporters out there who refuse to vote for Saint Barack. Many of these have already said they’d vote for McCain. Now that he’s appointed a woman, many more of the female Hillary supporters may support the ticket.
And by the way, even she has more executive experience than Saint Barack.
- She served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska City Council.
- She was a two term Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
- She has been the Governor of Alaska since 2006.
Here’s a good clip of her disagreeing with McCain and saying that she could change his mind on drilling in Anwar:
